Rodney James Alcala is an American serial killer who started his murder in 1971. He has been waiting for his death sentence in a California prison since 2010.

Mexican-born Juan Corona employed seasonal workers on a California farm in the 1970s. He also gave them a place to sleep on the site where 25 bodies were later discovered. He was sentenced to 25 life sentences with no prospect of pardon.
