Steven Kraft and his coming out with consequences
After attending one of the Claremont Colleges in California, he joined the United States Air Force in the late 1960s. He decided to confess his homosexuality to his family and employer. The response from family and military was disappointing for him. After his confession he was named by the U.S. Military suspended from duty.
Steven Kraft: Put murder thoughts into action
Kraft then took on various jobs without major qualification requirements. During this time, he began to implement his earlier thoughts of murder. His first victim was Wilma McCann on December 24, 1972.
On May 14, 1983, Randy Kraft was stopped on the San Diego Freeway with his car because he didn't drive straight and lurched over and over. While the slightly drunken Steven Kraft takes up the personal details, the policeman wants to wake the supposedly sleeping passenger. After checking his pulse, the policeman realizes that the passenger is dead. The policeman immediately calls for reinforcements. In Randy Steven Kraft's car, the police find photos of soldiers who have already been murdered, as well as a notepad with the names of 67 alleged victims. His victims were between 13-35 years old.
