The World's worst Serial Killer
In the year of his arrest in 1999, he admitted to murdering over 130 boys. The unknown number of his victims is up to 300. He is therefore also called “The World's Worst Serial Killer”.

These incredible acts are possible in a country where the police are rarely seen in public, where drug trafficking employs the authorities and politicians of the country, where police police serial killers have no experience. Corpses and victims were mostly attributed to rival drug gangs and clans by the police. Nobody thought that a single person would do such crimes with the motive of personal satisfaction.
1999 - the year of arrest of serial killer Luis Garavito
In 1999 Luis Garavito was arrested by accident. He confessed to the murders of 138 boys. Since there is no death penalty in Colombia, he was sentenced to a maximum of 30 years. Luis Garavito is still alive.
