Chikatilo: The butcher of Rostov
The Ukrainian beast - his nickname - was arrested on November 20, 1990 after the KGB watched him for several days. Andrej Chikatilo's murder series ended after 13 years and 53 victims. He confessed to having committed 50 murders. Serial killer Chikatilo was executed on November 14, 1994 in the Novocherkassk prison with a neck shot.
