At the age of 14, Panzram ran away from home
Panzram was sent to boarding school at the age of 12, where he was regularly beaten and raped. At the age of 14 he decided to leave family and school. Since then he has lived on small thieves and raids, in which he also raped the victims.
Successful prison escapes
Panzram was in countless prisons during his life, most of which managed to escape. With his violent nature and tremendous physical strength, Panzram was recognized by most prison inmates. At the age of 20, he began his first proven murder: he met young sailors in bars in New York and lured them away, then abused them and shot them later. Panzram then went to Angola, where he abused and murdered at least one boy. According to Panzram, he did not rape his victims for sexual satisfaction, but instead showed his superiority and dominance.
A prison guard as his last murder victim
In 1928 Panzram was born in Washington D.C. imprisoned and he got 25 years in prison. Since he struck a prison guard with an iron bar, his sentence was converted into a death sentence.
